The Makita DKP180 82mm Cordless Planer has been developed with the same advantages of our mains planer. The angle and shape of handle are easy to grip, push and carry. Precise planning depth setting is by an adjustment knob with click stops providing an accurate and even finish. It has double insulation and can be used with a vacuum cleaner/dust extraction.

There is a 'V' groove on the base for easy chamfer cutting. There is also a foot no the base plate which protects the workpiece and blades from damage. The depth adjustment is precise with 0.1mm divisions.

Has a 22 minute charge time with the air cooled Makstar Optimum Charging System. Lithium-ion batteries have greater life spans than their Ni-MH or Ni-Cad counterparts giving 430% greater run time. Lithium-ion's 40% weight saving means 18 volt power can be obtained by a battery that weighs the same as a 12 volt Ni-MH battery.
