Handmade from high quality brass, the bowl aspect of the sundial has been finished in a satin black finish as is the spaces between the roman numerals. A clear and quite extraordinary design, this sundial doubles as a bird bath or bird feeder. A single polished brass sailboat sits facing the XII, whilst the stern points towards the Latin phrase ‘TEMPUS FUGIT’, translating to ‘time flies’ and acts as the gnomon in this decorative garden accessory. A wonderful must have in any sailor’s garden.
